Comprehensive support to define- and achieve- your goals

Emily’s comprehensive college admissions packages emphasize self-discovery and actualization with three core goals:

1.) finding the best-fit schools for each student

2.) developing the strongest possible application

3.) reducing stress for students and families

In early high school, Emily will help students identify and seize opportunities to first explore and then dive deep into their interests. Meanwhile, regularly scheduled meetings regarding course planning, testing options, and intellectual interests will ensure that students are proactive in building the strongest possible academic profile. Emily will be there to provide support at every step of the way, whether students need assistance applying to summer programs or translating interests into potential college majors and careers.

In junior year, students will put their knowledge of self to the test as they begin investigating colleges and identifying their best-fit schools. The summer before senior year, students will work with Emily to craft a personal essay and begin school-specific supplements. Emily brings not just her expertise in admissions and writing, but her knowledge of the student to highlight their unique strengths and personal characteristics. In late summer and early fall of their senior year, students will work with Emily to undertake at least two rounds of essay revision, ensuring that materials have time to blossom to their full potential. All application materials will be proofread and polished well before deadlines, allowing students to relax and enjoy their senior year.

The comprehensive package is Emily’s most extensive package, allowing her to work with students on a deeper level.  With this package, Emily doesn’t just offer expert guidance and intensive writing support to make students’ goals a reality– she works with them to develop and sharpen their goals.

“Emily got through to my son in a way that I had not dared to hope for. He told me he actually looked forward to their meetings. My son is a high-anxiety kid, and I truly think having a trusted guide made all the difference for him.”
